Purposes of the Swiss Avenue Historic District Association

Article Four
These purposes shall include, but are not limited to:
- the preservation of the historic and architectural identity and integrity of the Swiss Avenue Historic District and the properties comprising the same;
- the promotion and encouragement of the preservation and restoration of properties within the boundaries of the Swiss Avenue Historic District;
- the determination of the needs and goals of the Swiss Avenue Historic District and the promotion and encouragement of undertakings to satisfy such needs and achieve such goals;
- the dissemination of information and educational materials concerning the Swiss Avenue Historic District and the history thereof;
- the promotion and encouragement of undertakings to improve and beautify the Swiss Avenue Historic District; and
- liaison and coordination with governmental agencies of programs and activities affecting the Swiss Avenue Historic District.
