The annual Mother's Day home tour is our celebration of the beauty and historic significance of the extraordinary homes in the Swiss Avenue Historic District. It is our pleasure to open our doors and share our neighborhood each year.
Homes from Swiss Avenue, Bryan Parkway, La Vista and Live Oak are chosen each spring to represent the district. Local residents are your guides, focusing your attention on the details and history of each home.
In addition to the home tour proper, typical activities include a parade on Swiss Avenue, an art show in the median, and musical entertainment, food and children's activities in Savage Park.
All proceeds from the home tour go back into the neighborhood and to the East Dallas community at large.
